"Christmas isn't a Season, it's a Feeling" - Edna Ferber

10 stops you need to make in Lethbridge this holiday season.

Every year for the past 3 years I have made it a tradition to take my Grandma who immigrated from Poland on a tour of some of the most extravagant Christmas light displays here in Lethbridge. It has become one of the things I look forward to the most during the holidays

During these unfamiliar times, I think that taking the family on a drive to see all of the decorated homes is a safe and fun idea, and who doesn’t love Christmas lights? Now I understand that part of the fun can be driving around aimlessly and stumbling on some grand displays, but here are 10 locations you need to include.

81 Cougar Crescent N

One of my favourites, this home is tucked away in a cul-de-sac. It's sure to give you a taste of the Christmas spirit.

126 Red Crow Boulevard W

This is one of the more extravagant homes you will see. Might even be my favorite. You can even donate food to the food bank here as well as toys to the Salvation Army.

599 Heritage Boulevard W

This home is an inflatable extravaganza. Very unique and one of the more entertaining homes.

2022 7 Avenue S

Tune into the radio station and stay for the show. You may need to wait a little in line as there is a lot of traffic.

1603 Scenic Drive S

Another extravagant home that is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit. Be sure to add this to your list.

13 Hawthorne Place N

Here is another northside gem. If you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of Santa in one of the windows.

704/708 Twin River Loop W

Two for the price of one. These neighbors have collaborated on a fantastic display. Copperwood is also one of the most well decorated neighborhoods.

2317 13 Avenue S

This is a MUST see. The ode to Whoville is decked out to the nines. If you come at the right time you might catch a glimpse of the Grinch waiving to you from the porch.

1280 4 Avenue S

This home is probably the most well known house in Lethbridge. But I still wanted to include it on my list because of how spectacular it is. Words do not do it justice.

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden

Get some fresh air and tour the Gardens. This is a great opportunity to support local. You will need to make sure to purchase tickets online.
